USD 315 has recently been made aware of threats circulating on TikTok similar to those reported in other Kansas school districts. While no credible evidence has been found indicating an immediate threat to USD 315 students or staff, we are in collaboration with the Colby Police Department, will take extra precautions on that date to ensure the safety and security of everyone in the schools. This will include an increased police presence. USD 315 values the continued support and cooperation of the community as they work through this situation. The safety of students is USD 315’s top priority and they are confident that, together, they will maintain a secure environment in the schools. Reports of similar threats have surfaced in multiple states, including Kansas, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Texas, Tennessee and Florida. USD 315 encourages anyone who notices suspicious activity or has concerns to report it immediately to local law enforcement.

Eagle Bulletin- Week of November 13th-November 18th.
Today is the day to celebrate our district transportation department! These staff members are often out-of-sight and out-of-mind, but are a part of our student's everyday routine. Thank you for safely getting our students to and from school on time and ready to learn. We appreciate the long hours taking field trips and athletic teams to events and back. The board and administration wants to recognize the responsibility these drivers have each day. We appreciate this team. Help us say thank you to: Cindy Black - Transportation Director, Alan Ackerman, Ike Donn, Brad Fikan, Peyton Guthrie, Carol Morgan, Tracy Rogers, Michael Schneider, Bob Weber, Sherry Barrett #WeAreTheEagles315

Parents and students, Heads Up, Seven Up! Please check your student's backpack tonight because: Our students in 6th grade have an exciting opportunity coming! Your 6th-grade student should bring home a permission slip for a field trip to Northwest Kansas Technical College on Thursday, October 19th, for Exploration Day. These forms must be completed and returned by Monday, October 16th, so that we can make all our arrangements. 7th-hour teachers will give these to the 6th graders TODAY! Thanks! CMS Careers

Don't forget Reality U will be here on Wednesday, April 5th! Our 8th and 10th graders will be experiencing a bit of "reality" with real-world financial applications. Students will be bussed to and from the Event Center.
