Booster Club announces "Buy a Brick" Program

Colby Athletics Booster Club
Colby has a long history of supporting the young student/athletes who walk through the doors of Colby High School. Some of this support comes in the way of parents, friends, and community members giving hours of their time to volunteer at various activities and events. Some of the support comes in the way of funds that are donated to the Booster Club, who in turn spends those funds on a variety of things to support all sports at the high school level. Both are equally important and are truly appreciated by all those who receive the support.
Some examples of equipment that has been purchased within the past two years are: exercise bikes in the weight room, a pitching machine for softball, wall mats in the high school gym, Commando Video Scouting package, floor pads for the weight room, and of course the new stadium at Dennen Field. The Booster Club also provides one polo shirt per coach of all sports, provides the t-shirts that TSA shoots into the crowd at games, purchases the paint for the football field, travel bags for volleyball, and supplies for the dance team and cheerleaders. The Club also provides $1,000 in scholarships every May to some graduating seniors.
CHS All Sports Booster Club is now offering a way to honor and recognize people who support athletics at Colby High School with the “Buy a Brick Program.” Pictured is a rendition of our vision of what we are planning to build once enough bricks are sold. We feel this is a great way to recognize the many supporters our school has. You can commemorate and celebrate the memory of a loved one, special person, your family name, a special event, or a special message as you wish. Brick sizes available are 4” x 8” with four lines of text available (three lines are recommended), or 8” x 8” with six lines (five lines are recommended) of text available. Marble 8” x 8” bricks are also being offered. Don’t miss this chance to establish a lasting memorial as we build the future of Colby High School athletic programs and facilities one brick at a time. Simply print the order sheet, fill out the form, and mail it with a check to the address shown.
