Continuous Learning Plan is Live

Parents,

We wanted to touch base with you before we begin the process of the Continuous Learning Plan to provide you with some initial information.

First, please remember that we are all dealing with a very new approach to education for the next several weeks and we are trying our best to make that happen.  Please be patient with us as we work through issues, as we will be right alongside students and families facing the new educational delivery.

Mrs. Brenn has drafted a letter that has been posted on the district website.  It is found toward the bottom of the main district page in the NEWS section.  Please download it and read it at your earliest convenience.  It has very good information.

We will begin the Continuous Learning Plan (CLP) on Monday, March 30.  Please don’t panic about this date.  Our main goal for you this week is to make sure that you can get access to the materials and the communication avenues.  We know that this is a new environment and there will be questions and issues.  We will use this week to work those kinks out.

The buttons for the CLP materials will go live at 6:00pm, Sunday, March 29, 2020.  There will be a button on each main page of the district sites.  If you are used to accessing a certain building’s website, continue to do so.  You will not need any login information and do not need any credentials to access the CLP materials.  Once you have access to the CLP page, the organization of the page is Grade Level then Week number.  At the High School, you will access Week number and then Teacher Name.  The files needed for a given week will be posted there.  Please don’t worry if there are no files in a folder immediately on Sunday evening.  We will have them uploaded as soon as we possibly can.

Many of the teachers at the elementary level have sent home paper packets and will be uploading items on week two and beyond.

Thank you for your support in these trying times,

CPS Administration, Faculty, and Staff
